MIX MASTERS 2001

On 12th March, 2001, DJ Jazzy Joe completed another year and as part of the ' 9th - year- Celebrations ', the Mixmasters again created Magic on the turntables - with one difference . This year, the event went 'National' as it was held in the Four Metropolitan Cities of India - Mumbai, Calcutta, Chennai and of course, Delhi . The Dates and Venues were -
5th May - EC-41 , Chennai
6th/7th/8th May - The Anti-Clock , Calcutta
9th/10th/11th May - My Kind of Place , New Delhi
12th/13th May - Razzberry Rhinocerous , Mumbai

The 9-day-4-city tour was the First of it's kind where the DJ's not only performed in the four cities but also met the DJ's at other venues and created an awareness among the upcoming ones that DJ's don't need to be at a 'War' or 'Battle' to see, appreciate and learn from each other's styles . The venues were carefully chosen keeping the concept and the crowd in mind . Once again, the team of DJ's enjoyed a blend of different strengths with the same creative levels to make sure that both the crowd and the DJ's enjoyed and learned from the event . The participating DJ's this year were FREE ATMAH ( Mumbai ), RAHUL ( Bangalore ), JAZZY JOE ( Delhi ), WAYNE BECK ( Chennai ) JIMMY TANGAREE ( Kolkata ), AASHISH ( Dubai ), BOBO ( Kolkata ) and SAMEER DUTT ( Delhi )
